Service description

Characterisation of passive photonic integrated circuits (PICs). Measurements on output power according to PIC functionality (losses, crosstalk, chromatic dispersion, extinction ratios, etc.), for non-encapsulated PICs with lateral facet coupling in the range 1450-1620 nm. Includes thermal and polarisation control. For other requirements, please contact the laboratory. The service is offered in two modalities: 1. Measurement of PICs carried out by the service contractor's staff. The price, which is stipulated per day (working day), includes access to the laboratory, training in the use of the equipment and technical support. The smallest contract is for two days, the first day being dedicated to training in the use of the equipment. Technical support on the second and subsequent days is estimated at one hour a day. 2. Measurement of PICs by CSIC personnel. The price is stipulated per hour. In both cases, the detailed conditions of the service will be adjusted in advance according to the specific needs of the client.
