Calibration of fiber laser sources

Service description

Calibration of laser or LED optical sources for single-mode and multimode fibre optics. Two types of measurements are carried out: 1.- General (spectral characteristics and power). - The characteristic spectral parameters are calibrated: mean emission wavelength, peak wavelength, spectral width, side mode suppression ratio (DFB lasers), side mode shift (DFB lasers). - Emission power is calibrated in W or dBm, for emission power values between -43 dBm (50 nW) and 23 dBm (200 mW) (1% recognised uncertainty). - It is applied to wavelengths between 600 nm and 1650 nm. 2.- Calibration of the laser frequency stability.
