Museo Geominero
The Geominero Museum, which belongs to the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME) of the CSIC, is a space dedicated to the conservation, research and dissemination of the richness and diversity of the geological, palaeontological and mineralogical heritage through important collections of minerals, rocks and fossils due to their historical value.
Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales
The Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales carries out advanced scientific research, manages a large collection of specimens, and runs a programme of exhibitions and educational activities aimed at the general public. Its mission is to promote a fuller understanding of the diversity of the natural world.
Real Jardín Botánico
The mission of the Real Jardín Botánico is to promote the understanding, conservation and enjoyment of plants and their natural environment. It does so through scientific research into plants and fungi, the exhibition of live plants and conservation of dried plant material (herbarium), and by running educational programmes on the plant world for children and adults.
Museo Casa de la Ciencia de Sevilla
Casa de la Ciencia is a CSIC scientific outreach venue in Seville. It has been installed in the Peru Pavillion, built for the 1929 Iberoamerican Exposition: a fine building located on the scientific/cultural axis of the San Telmo gardens.
Casa de la Ciencia del CSIC en Valencia
This space opened its doors in 2018 with the aim of becoming a showcase for the CSIC's outreach activities and research work. Since then it has not stopped organising scientific culture activities and hosting meetings and events.
Residencia de Estudiantes
Residencia de Estudiantes is a venue for debate, critical reflection and creation centring around the trends of our times. It organises numerous public events in which many of the leading figures from the arts and sciences today take part, such as lectures, panel discussions, concerts, poetry readings, meetings and exhibitions.
Residencia de Investigadores
Residencia de Investigadores is a public consortium created in 1993 by the CSIC and the Generalitat de Cataluña with two goals: to provide accommodation for professors and researchers while staying in Barcelona, and to organise scientific and cultural activities promoting dialogue and reflection.
Museo Virtual de la Ciencia
Web space created by “El CSIC en la Escuela” to promote the dissemination of science and the collaboration among professionals in education and research. It offers resources for the classroom, didactic presentations of scientific contents and information on scientific instruments of the CSIC’s historical value
