Information and communication of ESF and ESF+

Within the framework of the ESF+ 2021-2027 programming, the CSIC participates as an Intermediate Body carrying out actions related to Political Objective 4, "a more social and inclusive Europe, through the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights," by developing initiatives that help improve access to employment and activation measures for all job seekers, particularly young individuals.

European Social Fund + in the Period 2021-2027

In the framework of the ESF+ 2021-2027 programming, the CSIC participates as an Intermediate Body by developing actions related to Political Objective 4, 'a more social and inclusive Europe, through the application of the European Pillar of Social Rights,' through the development of actions that help improve access to employment and activation measures for all job seekers, particularly young people, especially through the implementation of the Youth Guarantee, long-term unemployed, disadvantaged groups in the labor market, and inactive individuals, as well as through the promotion of self-employment and the social economy (MEASURE 5.A.09).

The financial allocation in terms of aid assigned to the CSIC has been 14 million euros. From 2024 to 2027, the publication of three annual calls is planned for the formalization of approximately 583 training contracts for technical and management staff, broken down into 190 in the first call (M1); 205 in the second call (M2); and 188 in the third call (M3).

European Social Fund Programs Period 2014-2020

The CSIC participates as an Intermediate Body in the Youth Employment Operational Program (hereinafter, YEOP), carrying out actions related to Thematic Objective 8, "Achieving quality training and employment" linked to the Youth Guarantee Initiative.

Specifically, within the framework of the ESF 14-20 Pluriregional Operational Program, the CSIC carries out actions in the following axes and investment priorities:

  • AXIS 5: Sustainable integration into the labor market of young people who are not employed or participating in education or training systems, particularly in the context of the Youth Guarantee –YEI/ESF-.

     

8.2 Investment priority: Sustainable integration into the labor market of young people, especially those without work and not integrated into education or training systems, as well as young people at risk of social exclusion and those from marginalized communities, also through the implementation of the Youth Guarantee.

 

  • AXIS 8: Technical Assistance. Specific objective: "Achieving a management and quality control that allows the achievement of the Operational Program objectives ensuring minimal error rates."

 

For Axis 5, a total of 834 Youth Guarantee beneficiaries have been hired with a funding allocation of 25,500,000 euros.
