Service's description

El servicio científico-técnico del Centro Experto de Barcelona (BEC-RS) proporciona una amplia gama de servicios relacionados con la teledetección, incluyendo el desarrollo de procesadores tanto de datos in situ como de satélite, y su mantenimiento; la generación, validación y distribución de productos satelitales; el apoyo a campañas de medidas para teledetección; y la consultoría científica. El BEC-RS también es activo en la organización de cursos tanto de formación en teledetección, como de capacitación en el uso de herramientas específicas.

Service description

BEC-RS staff has extensive experience participating in measurement campaigns for calibration and validation of satellite products, algorithm development, and evaluation of measurement methods and protocols. In this context, BEC-RS offers support for carrying out activities in situ for satellite application, both with the user's own instrumentation or provided by BEC-RS. It is mentioned that each field trip is considered to last 4 hours, longer trips, or measurement campaigns of more than one day, will be agreed on a case-by-case basis. Finally, the cost of eventual calibrations and/or boats is not included.
