Service description
BEC-RS has a computing cluster of 30 servers with a total of 324 cores, 576 threads and 2064 GB of RAM, a Nvidia Tesla 2050 GPU with 448 cores that provides a computing power of 515 Gigaflops, and 11 workstations with 12 Nvidia Quadro CUDA GPUs, 44 cores, 88 threads and 192 GB of RAM. It also counts on a storage capacity of 250 TB.
This makes it possible to guarantee real-time processing of remote sensing data, both in situ and from satellite, for applications such as the generation of ad-hoc products, or the support to calibration/validation campaigns. Data production will be complemented by periodic reports (e.g., monthly) with basic processing statistics (number of files, disk space, percentage of failure, etc.). The service is offered in packages of 1000 (1000 CPUh x 4GB RAM)hours that include both the processing itself and the experienced assistance of BEC-RS personnel.
