Culture media preparation is a daily task in our collection. Therefore, we have extensive experience with both general and specific culture media. Culture media are prepared with seawater filtered with cartridge filters (5 microns, 1 micron, carbon filter, UV, 0.22 microns), then autoclaved and adjusted for salinity.
The available culture media are L1, f/2, and K, although specific culture media can be prepared by modifying the amount of nutrients, removing or adding nutrients, diluting, or changing the salinity. Culture media are available in two volumes (1/2 liter and 1 liter) and are shipped in screw-capped incubation bottles.
Prices vary depending on whether they are public or private entities.
Regarding shipping, the client is responsible for collection and shipping. Prices may be inquired at the national level.
