Besides the research carried out in CSIC Institutes and Centers, CSIC provides services to the wholw scientific community - national and international- through the management of Research Support Infrastructures.

Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructures (ICTS)

CSIC manages infraestructures recognized by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities as Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructures (ICTS).

Large European Scientific and Technological Facilities and Infrastructures

CSIC is responsible for the management of Spanish experimental lines at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) and at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL).

Due to its multidisciplinary nature and its commitment to society, CSIC manages a wide and diverse catalogue of cultural assets and relevant infrastructures for the global scientific community. Some of them are located in buildings of special interest.
