Sustainable Energy and Chemistry

The EQS Group develop it research activity in energy, chemical and applied chemistry fields, more specifically in synthesis and structure of heterogeneous and organometallic catalysts, chemical and energy processes, and optimization and engineering of catalytic systems. Our research and development labor is focused in three broad fields: energy, new clean catalytic processes and environmental catalytic technologies. The research projects of these three lines include hydrogen production, hydrotreatments of crude oil fractions, fuel cells, clean fuel synthesis, biofuels production, use of biomass, new synthetic routes of chemical compounds, liquid phase selective oxidation and VOC elimination
