Environmental and Water Chemistry for Human Health - ONHEALTH

ONHEALTH is composed of 4 researchers (permanent position) including two scientific researchers (E. Eljarrat, M. Farré), a tenured scientist (S. Pérez) and a young researcher (M. Llorca). Additional members include 3 post-doctoral researchers, 16 PhD students, 2 laboratory assistants, and several Master's and Degree students. The group participates in various national and European funded projects, as well as in contracts with public administrations and companies, with the total funding obtained for the projects currently in force exceeding 2,500,000€. Likewise, in the last 5 years a total of 111 scientific papers have been published the first quartile journals, and 11PhD theses have been presented. The group owns analytical instrumentation to carry out its research lines, including chemical analysis, ecotoxicity tests, biosensors and facilities for experimentation in controlled conditions: greenhouses, marine micro- and meso-cosmos, and thermal mannequins with breathing system.
