Bacteriophages and their relationship with CRISPR-Cas and other defense systems in bacteria

Our group is specialized in bioinformatics and computational biology. We are interested in the study of bacterial pangenomes to understand how they relate to the bacteriophages that infect them, and how the latter can modulate their evolution and the expansion of defense and anti-defense systems.
