Asymmetric Synthesis and Functional Nanosystems Group.

The research carried out in the AS@FUN group can be divided into two main axes: (i) Design, Synthesis and Bioapplication of Functional Nanosystems and (ii) Asymmetric synthesis. All these subjects have in common the utilization of carbohydrates either as inexpensive chiral codifying agents or as molecular recognition elements of biological receptors implied in unsolved pathological processes.
