Production of transformed plants

Service description

The production of transgenic lines of different plant species is offered (consult variants) through the use of optimized transformation protocols with Agrobacterium tumefaciens. It is essential that users of this service provide the transformed Agrobacterium tumefaciens strains with the necessary constructs to generate the transgenic lines. The service concludes with the delivery of the transgenic lines (resistant to the selection agent) rooted in vitro. Therefore, the service does not include any molecular testing of the generated plants. Likewise, the acclimatization of the plants will be carried out by the applicant for the service, with the advice of the Service, if necessary.
