Determination of the content of the interest elements in metallic materials, ferrous and non ferrous, according to the analytical technique possibilities, to the references materials resources and possibility to prepare an adequated sample with a superficial required preparation for analysis by Optical Emission Spectroscopy by Spark and/or Glow Discharge Lamp. -Optical Emission Spectroscopy by Spark: At present, bulk analysis of metallic materials ferrous and non ferrous (Cu and alloys, Al and alloys, and Sn and alloys) is possible. - Glow Discharge Optical Emission Spectroscopy: The same bulk analysis of the previous technique. With this technique, it is possible to obtain Quantitative Depth Profiles in coated or thermically treated materials. Galvanized steels, tin sheets, coated copper with P, oxidized Ni3Al, ..., have been analyzed.
