Service description
AgroPhenoLab at IAS-CSIC offers a high-throughput field phenotyping service, data analysis, and instrumentation design for crop breeding and agronomy research.
Field phenotyping is carried out using advanced sensor-equipped field robots such as spectrometers and LiDAR, which enables the measurement of essential plant characteristics such as height, plant or tree size, structure, and biochemical composition or other biophysical parameters of interest. This data can help researchers understand how genotypes respond to different environmental conditions and biotic or abiotic stresses.
In addition to field phenotyping, the laboratory also offers data analysis services to help researchers extract useful information from the data obtained. Data analysis services include processing raw data to identify patterns and correlations between different variables.
Finally, the laboratory also offers instrumentation design services, working collaboratively with researchers to design and build customized instruments to meet their specific measurement needs. These instruments can range from specific sensors to complete data acquisition systems.
AgroPhenoLab's team has extensive experience in plant phenotyping and agricultural research, ensuring a high-quality service and the ability to adapt to the specific needs of each research project.
