El Laboratorio de Tratamiento de Datos y Fuentes Medievales (MEDlab) tienen como objetivo preservar, actualizar y dar continuidad a recursos fundamentales para el avance de la investigación generados por el Grupo de Investigación Redes de Poder en Sociedades Medievales a través de sus proyectos de investigación. Estos recursos se derivan de análisis directos de las fuentes medievales (textuales, materiales o visuales), de procesamientos complejos de informaciones secundarias o terciarias y de bases de datos relaciónales y georreferenciados, en acceso abierto y con un número muy elevado de usuarios y potencial de expansión.

Service description

Provision of open access to the datasets resulting from the research carried out by the RG. Specialised on-demand provision of data, images, cartography, medieval chronology plans to be elaborated from the databases kept in the laboratory. Specialised provision of data, images, cartography, medieval chronology plans to be produced ex novo with the human and material resources of the laboratory based on the expert knowledge of its members.
