Gabrielle Emilie Le Tonnelier
Born in France, in 1706. Known as Châtelet Marquess for her marriage with Châtelet Marquis. She was expert in Mathematics and devoted most of her work to study, as well as philosophy and science.
In 1733 known as Voltaire, with whom she had an intense relationship. She published several works such as Éléments de la philosophie de Newton. Her greatest achievement is the introduction and dissemination of Newton and Leibniz theories in France thanks to her commented translation to French of Principia. She passed away in 1749.
