Emma Amelia Noether

Born in 1882, her father was a renown mathematician professor in Erlagen. She received an education to become a language teacher.

She obtained her assistance permit in Erlangen University, from there she went to Gottingen University, where she received lectures from Hilbert, Klein and Minkovski. In 1904 she enrolled in Erlangen and in 1907 she began her doctorate. She did not obtain her permission to do the clearance. 

In 1915, with the help of Hilbert and Klein, she could teach Mathematics in Göttingen University. Her famous theorem relates laws of symmetry with the one about conservation. She passed away in 1935.
