Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard
She began studying Biology in Frankfort, then changed to Physics and later to Biochemistry. Since 1985 directs the genetic division of Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Tübingen, Germany.
She received, with Edward B. Lewis and Eric Wieschaus, the Nobel Prize of Physiology and Medicine in 1995.
