Organometallic Synthesis and Catalytic Applications (OSACA)

The Organometallic Synthesis and Catalytic Applications (OSACA) group was created in 2017, and has its origin in the former group Organometallic Chemistry and Homogeneous Catalysis, initiated in the mid-1980s by Prof. Ernesto Carmona. The OSACA group develops several research lines dedicated to the study of organometallic processes and the synthesis of homogeneous, heterogenized and colloidal metal-based catalysts, aiming to develop more efficient and sustainable chemical processes for organic synthesis and hydrogen-storage. Currently, the group is composed by members of both the CSIC (1 full profesor and 1 tenured scientist) and the University of Sevilla (1 professor and 2 associated professors).
