Organometallic Chemistry: Structure Reactivity and Homogeneous Applications

The QUIMERA Group emerged from the Organometallic Chemistry and Homogeneous Catalysis Group founded by Prof. Ernesto Carmona in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry in the Universidad de Sevilla at the beginning of the 80's. The group moved to the Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas in 1996, when this research institute was created. Since then this Group has worked on several research lines in Organometallic Chemistry and Homogeneous Catalysis. This research has been collected in a good number of publications in high quality journals multidisciplinary chemical journals as well as in more specialized ones. Nowadays, the group have permenant members from both CSIC and the Universidad de Sevilla, as well as 3 posdoctoral researchers and 5 PhD students.
