JAEPRE23 -15: Estudios omicos de cultivos subtropicales a través de la bioinformática

Avocado, mango, and Annona species are subtropical fruit crops of great interest worldwide, and of special interest in Spain, which is the main producer in Europe. This project aims to consolidate our genomics portals as the primary international reference for mango, avocado, and cherimoya, integrating omics and variation data generated by our group and international collaborators, developing and implementing bioinformatics tools to access and explore them. Objectives are: -Bioinformatics and genomics training of the candidate to obtain a PhD. -Collection of omics and variation data. -Set up pipelines for data analysis. -Data processing and analysis. -Study of omics and variation data. -Data integration in MangoBase, AvoBase, and IHSM subtropicals DB. -Development and implementation of bioinformatics tools to share and explore the data.
