What Do We Know About...? Lectures
The cycle of conferences aims to create an environment for dialogue and debate between the scientific community and society in which the protagonists of science explain the latest scientific topics and its processes and impact on our daily lives.
The cycle emerge from the framework of the book collections ¿Qué sabemos de? y Divulgación, twritten by CSIC researchers. The origin of both collections is the collaboration between CSIC and Editorial Catarata, and gather all kind of scientific questions of public interest in more than 127 books.
‘¿Qué sabemos de...?’ offers a varied programming in cities throughout Spain with the objective of making the most wide-ranging encounter between science and society. For the fouth consecutive year, these conferences in which CSIC researchers from all fields of knowledge participate will reach the centres of interest of the participating cities.
